KK - Sipadan Trip [Jan 12th 08] {Sipadan Day 2}
Sipadan Day 2
That was the day which we actually dive around and landed on Pulau Sipadan. 2 morning dives around Pulau Sipadan were at 'Turtle tomb' and 'Mid reef'. As for the afternoon, we went to 'Kapalai' for a dive but the water there was murky compared to the rest of the dive sites went in which each and every one of them are so clear till the point that you never knew that you are just so far off from the surface of the sea cause everything seems so clear and near.
* 7a.m and we were ready and off to P.Sipadan. 3 new faces here where the lady in sunglasses was our divemaster, and second last guy on the right was Edmond and Tony's face is not in.
* My assigned dive buddy Sany!
*Posing at the beach after the first dive at 'Turtle tomb'. Seen behind is the jetty and we actually did some stupid jumps into the sea. Don't be fool by the clear water, at the end of the jetty was deep though it doesn't looks like!
*And our guy Tony is with us posing in front of the army camp! The resort on the island was shut down after the kidnap incident. The 2 remaining buildings were used one each for army and forestry department.
*Sany, Tiong and me trying to get a picture together but just not close enough to the turtle.
*Picture taken the moment we exit the dive at 'Kapalai'. The buildings behind is the resort on the island.
*There are quite a few souvenir booth and we actually took the picture with our head in between the dried shark teeth.
* Sunset on Mabul island 1
* Sunset on Mabul island 2
* The only night dive of the trip but too bad! I can't join them.... At least for now cause I'm upgrading my license now to enable me to do night dive.
